Do I need the Identity Package?
How long will it take?
Can I skip the Identity Package stuff and just get [a web    site/business cards/a brochure etc.]?
I don’t live in Missouri. Can you work with me on my project?

Q Do I need the ID Package?
My ID package is good if you want increased recognition in your community. It is a good place to start if you think you may want to create more projects down the line, in that it sets the stage, and then typically other projects can be created with less time and financial investment because we did the groundwork up front. This approach helps to keep everything consistent. It’s not just for your business cards and letterhead; ads, brochures, newsletters, T-shirts, posters as well as your web site all serve to strengthen your recognizability in your community.

In addition to receiving great graphic support, I like to think that my clients get a more focused inner sense of who they are and what they are up to when they go through the process of creating an outer manifestation of an inner dream or vision. They feel confident in how they are showing up in the world, and it’s congruent with who they are inside.

Q How long will it take?
I take pride in my ability to help you meet your time goals, AND good design often takes time. You can probably expect an Identity package to take around a month to a month and a half from the moment we begin to the time you pick up your finished materials at the printers – if you are available consistently for feedback during the development process. A web site can take longer or shorter depending on complexity and whether you already have content you’d like to use, or if that is part of the “to do” list. Having said this, each project has its own timing, and some projects naturally come together much more quickly than others.

If you already have a look and feel established that you want to continue to use, this can be an appropriate choice. If you don’t, and you are concerned about cost, keep in mind that there are plenty of services available offering to put your site up on the internet at a low – and sometimes at no cost, with lots of pre-made templates all ready for you to plug your name in and go. You should be able to easily find a local print shop or business supply store that can lay out your brochure or business cards, at a very low cost. If, however, you want something more personalized, that says “YOU”, be prepared to invest some time and money in exploring this, whether here or elsewhere.

Yes! In fact, most of what you see in my portfolio was co-created with out-of-state clients. In many cases I had the opportunity to meet with them at least once, which enhanced the experience – but thanks to the Internet and telephone, we are by no means limited by distance.
