trina's design studio

I provide graphic design services for small businesses – individuals who have something unique to share, a distinct gift or passion, something of their own to contribute in life. I also offer content development and photography, illustration, writing and copy editing. Translation to Spanish is available, and becoming more important all the time.

What to Expect
My job is to help those who can benefit from your services recognize you for who you are and understand what you offer.
We usually begin with the Identity Package. (see FAQ for a description of this package) I approach this process by first being with you, listening to you, getting to know you and understand your project – soaking up as much of what you have to share as I can, and then opening a creative dialogue with you using imagery that mirrors back what I’ve received.

This dialogue allows us to fine-tune and “mature” the imagery. Sometimes ensuing conversations reveal a new direction that’s more appropriate or evocative. Once we get the basic imagery, I convert this into graphic formats appropriate for print and/or web use. My goal and commitment is that the end product is something that you are proud of and thrilled with – that it reveals an essential truth about you – and that this energy and presence is infused in the communication you do with the materials that we’ve created.

About Trina
My life is my art! My family and I are living in Columbia, Missouri, enjoying a rich community of family and friends.

I like playing with the space where spirit and matter come together. The Creative Process combines discipline and routine with the mysterious and unexpected, and I love it.

I am very interested in natural living from all kinds of angles -- from growing my food to birthing my babies.

Below: a photo of our family after we welcomed little Aidan, August 2006. If you would like to read about our wonderful birthing experience (I am not kidding, it was wonderful) email me and I will send you a link.
